- polenta
- butter
- mushrooms
- grated gruyère cheese
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Sauté mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Put slices of polenta into shallow oven dish.
- Sprinkle half the cheese, mushrooms, mushroom pan juices, and remaining cheese.
- Bake 20 minutes, till light golden and cheese is melted.
