Glazed Carrots

  • 10-12 carrots
  • 5 T butter
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 t salt
  1. Peel and cut carrots.
  2. In saucepan, cover with water 1/4″ over carrots.
  3. Simmer on low heat 4-5 minutes?
  4. Test for doneness = a little underdone.
  5. Add butter, sugar, and salt.
  6. Increase heat to medium high. Cook until water evaporates. Shake pan to keep from burning.
