- 10-12 carrots
- 5 T butter
- 2 T sugar
- 1 t salt
- Peel and cut carrots.
- In saucepan, cover with water 1/4″ over carrots.
- Simmer on low heat 4-5 minutes?
- Test for doneness = a little underdone.
- Add butter, sugar, and salt.
- Increase heat to medium high. Cook until water evaporates. Shake pan to keep from burning.
